Scope of Work
Scope of Work
Post-construction cleaning is the final phase of a building or renovation project. It involves transforming a construction site into a move-in-ready environment by removing debris, fine dust, and surface residues. As part of a Cleaning EDGE crew, you are expected to deliver a thorough, detail-oriented result while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Typical tasks include:
- Removing construction dust from floors, walls, vents, and ledges.
- Cleaning windows, frames, and glass surfaces (interior and exterior).
- Wiping down doors, trim, baseboards, and hardware.
- Vacuuming and mopping all floor types using HEPA or neutral cleaners.
- Removing paint splatter, adhesive, stickers, and residue from surfaces.
- Cleaning cabinets, countertops, and built-in fixtures inside and out.
- Sanitizing restrooms, sinks, and kitchen areas.
- Polishing metal, glass, and decorative surfaces.
- Emptying waste bins and removing all temporary debris or materials left on site.
- Reporting damage, unfinished work, or safety concerns immediately to the site lead.
🧹 Important: Post-construction work is not just “general cleaning.” It requires precision, caution, and awareness of delicate finishes that may still be curing or settling.

Crew Expectations
As a Cleaning EDGE team member, you represent the company’s commitment to professionalism, reliability, and excellence. Every project reflects our brand standard, and your conduct on-site determines the quality of the final handover.
You are expected to:
- Arrive on time, fully equipped, and dressed in the proper PPE.
- Follow the work order and instructions from the project supervisor.
- Handle all surfaces with care — many are new, unsealed, or easily scratched.
- Work efficiently but never rush tasks that require precision.
- Keep cleaning materials organized and labeled at all times.
- Maintain communication with teammates and report progress regularly.
- Respect property boundaries — do not move, borrow, or alter any construction tools or materials.
- Ensure every area is inspection-ready before leaving the site.
💡 Quality Tip: The goal is to leave the space cleaner than new. Every visible surface, fixture, and floor should pass a white-glove test.
